Import Restrictions

Senders should determine import restrictions from the country's authorities before posting:

• alcohol and spirits
• animals and animal products
• bees and leeches
• measuring instruments
• motor vehicle headlights
• pharmaceuticals
• trees and saplings
• transmitter and receivers.

Prohibited Items

In addition to items considered non-mailable matter, the following are prohibited:

• any item offensive to Muslim culture
• advertising articles for promoting cigarettes
• clothing bearing the name of Allah or verses from the Koran
• counterfeit currency
• drugs, non-prescription
• fishing rods in three parts, with the diameter of the bottom part not exceeding 4 cm.
• foodstuff that may exude liquids or oils
• games of chance
• graphite products
• greeting cards with musical chimes
• liquids
• live animals (except bees and leeches)
• games of chance
• meat, fish and other perishable foodstuffs that might exude a foul odour during shipment
• military or similar clothing
• mineral products
• political printed matter of subversive nature
• pornographic articles, films and videos
• products which contains pork fat
• powder of any type
• remote controlled aircraft
• satellite / satellite parts
• tobacco / tobacco promotional and advertisement materials
• trees and saplings
• weapons.
